Donnington Parish Hall.
The Parish Hall, situated on the corner of Stockbridge Road and the southern entrance to Stockbridge Gardens is a purpose built facility with a seating capacity of 120 in the main function room which may be divided by means of folding doors. It has a stage, a large modern fully equipped kitchen, a small committee room, a secure garden and ample off street parking. The main function room (or part of it) and the committee room are available for hire whether for a special occasion or a regular meeting. A wide range of groups use the hall on a regular basis and all are happy to welcome new members. Information about some of these groups is given on the Local Groups page
Donnington Library
is a small self-financing community library based in the committee room at the Parish Hall. Run entirely by volunteers, it is offers a wide range of mainly paperback fiction and biographies, with some larger print editions of popular books. A selection of best sellers are added to the Library every month. It is open as follows:
Monday, 2 pm - 2.3O pm
Wednesday, 2pm - 2.30 pm
Friday, 6.30pm - 7.00 pm
Saturday, 10.30am -11.30 am.
There is no subscription fee, and loans are just 10p per book.
St. George's Church , Donnington
Regular worship taken by the Parish Priest, The Reverend Christopher Beard, are held in St. George's Church in Old Donnington. Holy Communions take place at 10am every Wednesday morning, and 8am every Sunday except the 4th Sunday in the month when they are held at Donnington Parish Hall.
In addition there are family services on the 1st and 3rd Sundays at Donnington Parish Hall at 10am , incorporating Sunday School.
