Donnington Parish Plan
Donnington Parish Council has instigated the formation of a steering group consisting of some Parish Councillors and other interested Donnington residents. The aim of the Steering Group is to produce a plan which captures the broad aspirations of Donnington Parish residents, how they would like to see the Parish develop, what they value about the Parish and any other important issues and views about Donnington Parish.
The work will be carried out by the Steering Group with the involvement of as broad a cross section of the community as possible. Funding for this project is available from the Parish Council and the District and County Councils.
As a first step in gathering the views of people who live or work in Donnington the Steering Group is distributing questionnaires to every household and business in Donnington in early September 2004. The responses will be used to help the Steering Group to develop a Parish Plan and to present your views and concerns to those authorities making decisions affecting facilities and services within the Parish, such as planning/building, traffic, or local amenities or services. There are questions on local services, improving facilities such as playing fields, traffic, the Post Office, changes to buildings, new building developments and a host of other issues affecting Donnington. The Steering Group will endeavour to reflect your views so please fill in as much as you feel able to so that your views can be heard.
