COUNTRY STORES POST OFFICE CAMPAIGN
Dear Resident
Although the Post Office has given the go-ahead to re-open our Post Office Branch they again have REFUSED the Country Stores’ application with no reason given.
PLEASE HELP
Our advice from POSTWATCH is the following. Can you please AS A MATTER OF URGENCY, write a short letter in your own words questioning this decision and ask that the decision be overturned in favour of CD Patel and grant him a licence. Please include how the closure has affected you.
- He has ideally located premises serving Donnington and much passing trade.
- He has a long established business and recently expanded into paper deliveries.
- He has improved the shop’s access and parking and will further adapt to accommodate the Post Office.
- He would open the Post Office six days a week and add many NEW Post Office services.
- He offers to provide a complete local service – a focus for our community.
